First and foremost, we want to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who have supported Typed.

Since our beta launch in 2021, Typed has been on a mission to help individuals manage knowledge and enable teams to collaborate more efficiently. Along the way, we’ve been incredibly fortunate to receive the love, encouragement, and support of so many users who believed in our vision.

In September of last year, we first shared that we were considering shutting down Typed. However, the overwhelming response from our users—many of whom told us that Typed is an essential tool—led us to explore every possible way to continue running the product.

For the past six months, we’ve tried our best to keep Typed alive, considering every possible avenue. However, running the product has continued to demand significant costs and resources, and we’ve repeatedly found ourselves unable to provide the level of support our users deserve. After much internal discussion, we’ve come to the difficult conclusion that rather than offering an unsupported service, it would be best to shut down Typed and allow our users to make new choices.

Typed will officially shut down on April 30, 2025.

It is with a heavy heart that we share this news, but we are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible for you.

Drawing from the lessons we’ve learned, our team is now focusing on Re:catch, a B2B CRM solution designed to help businesses grow and scale.
